Glowing (adjective):
Producing light
Shining with or as if with warmth or heat
A common refrain used when referencing workers in the nuclear energy field
Usage:
All of those people leaving their shift at the nuclear plant look like they’re glowing.
Squid (noun):
Any of an order (Teuthoidea) of cephalopods having eight short arms and two usually longer tentacles, a long tapered body, a caudal fin on each side, and usually a slender internal chitinous support
A nickname lovingly bestowed upon Navy sailors by members of the other US Armed Forces
Usage:
I heard a Navy ship just pulled into port; the place is going to be crawling with squids.
We are a small maker of woodcrafts, owned by a nuclear field Navy veteran, located in Clayton, North Carolina, and serving Clayton and the surrounding areas.
